Until we can get Leilani in office to promote campaign reform to level the financial playing field for those candidates who aren't millionaires and who aren't accepting big corporation money, we NEED your help! Leilani's opponent is HEAVILY funded by special interest PACs, by big industry, and by his personal wealth which far exceeds the salary of a retired Texas school teacher. But, Leilani doesn't believe a candidate should be able to "buy" an election victory! And, Leilani believes ALL TEXANS deserve representation -- not just the millionaires! To put up a good fight and save democracy within Texas, Leilani needs your help to create a grassroots campaign--funded almost entirely by small donations from the working people of our area who believe our public schools and rural landscape are worth fighting for! Every $1 counts! $4 buys a gallon of gas to help us visit neighborhoods in all 14 counties! $15 buys a yard sign! $150 buys a large banner. Please, give as you are able. Thank you!

Volunteer Your Time
Whether you can spare an hour, a day, or a week, we have plenty for you to do to help get out Leilani's message of hope for a better life for all in North Texas! We appreciate those who so willingly give of their time and effort. Please get in touch to let us know you'd be willing to join our movement for a better Texas! We want you on our team, and we need many, many volunteers to work together to take back the houseseat and secure true representation for HD69! Here are a few of our volunteer opportunities: __ Host a coffee or tea for friends at your house or a local cafe, so they can meet Leilani and ask her questions. __ Help us pass out information at community events. __ Help us block walk, knocking on doors to ask for support and find out about issues of most concern for House District 69. __ Mail post cards we'll provide to get Leilani's name and message out to voters.

Leilani is listening! During July, look for Leilani at the Falls Freedom Fest, at the Henrietta Senior Center Lunch, at the Aspermount Fish Fry, at the Kids' Charm-a-Palooza,. at the Wichita Falls Ranch Roundup, at the Burkburnett Gun Show, and at other locations around the area! Please come by our booth at local events, send an email, and come back to this site often for updates on where you can find Leilani, listening to YOUR concerns. "I want to learn all I can about the issues that concern the people of HD69!" Leilani says, and she means to do just that as she travels around all 14 counties in our district this year. Barnett says she's excited about the opportunity to meet and talk with people in Archer, Baylor, Clay, Cottle, Fisher, Foard, Hardeman, Haskell, King, Knox, Motley, Stonewall, Wichita, and Wilbarger counties.
